Mexican politician and writer specialized in the issues of democratic governance. He has been an academic, legislator and public server. For almost 20 years, he has been active in the reform of the State in Mexico, focusing in political regimen change. He has published multiple articles, books and given numerous conferences on the subject. He is also a columnist in several media and participates in radio and television shows.
He has been president of the State Reform Commission in the Chamber of Deputies, secretary of the Executive Committee of Negotiation and Construction of Agreements in the Union Congress, secretary of the Commission for the Reform of the State in the National Conference of Governors, member of the Consultative Council for the Mexico City Political Reform and Citizen Councilor for the Political Reform in the Mexico’s City Legislative Assembly for constitutional laws. He is currently vice president of the Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPPPAL) and executive secretary of the Gustavo Carvajal Moreno Foundation, Messenger of Peace.
