He has a Degree in Political Science (UNAM).
His journalistic career began in 1990 as a reporter for the disappeared newspaper El Nacional under the direction of José Carreño Carlón, covering political parties and Congress.
In 1993 he was the founder of CNI-Channel 40 when he was also a reporter. In 1997 on the newspaper La Crónica de Hoy, he made urban coverage, special affaires and was coordinator of national correspondents.
He worked as the Deputy Director of National Information at the Mexican News Agency Notimex in 2000.
In the public sector, he worked in social communication in Mexico’s City Government, UNAM, the National Commission of Indigenous Peoples and PGR.
He also colaborated at Grupo Milenio since 2002 as City’s Editor; Edition Coordinator and General Editor of Milenio Diario. In March 2016, he was promoted to Editorial Subdirector of the group and head of the newscast at 8 pm Milenio Television.
Currently he is the Editorial Director of ADN40 on TV Azteca and the informative television host of the Noticias de ida y vuelta.
